Photovoltaic Generation Models

Zero grid

<p>Systems connected to the power grid that limit or do not feed excess energy back into the grid, instead using that energy for their own consumption and/or battery storage. In other words, the system is designed to generate only the amount of energy needed for consumption during the day.</p>

Off-Grid

Systems also known as isolated, with energy autonomy, that operate independently of the electrical grid. They use photovoltaic panels to generate energy and batteries to store excess, allowing the use of solar energy even when there is no sun, such as at night or on cloudy days.

On-Grid

Grid-connected systems that allow for self-generation of energy, reducing costs and increasing predictability of energy expenditure. The surplus generated is injected into the grid and converted into credits on the bill. During periods of lower generation, consumption is automatically supplied by the utility.
